Expat forum marks Victory Day

Qatar Bangabandhu Parishad organised a discussion followed by a dinner party to celebrate the 39th Victory Day of Bangladesh recently.
Forum’ president SM Faridul Haq presided, while senior community member Yakoob Khan was the chief guest. Also present were Abdul Wahab Khan, Noor-un Nabi, Shahabuddin, Mozammel Hoque, Jahangir Alam, Kamrul Huda, Liquat Ali Khan, Ferdous Alam Chowdhury and Noor Mohamed.
Those who spoke on the occasion included Haq, Noor-ul-Alam, Anwar Islam Shah, Omar Farook Chowdhury, Jahangir Alam Howladar, Abdul Mannan Dulal, Shahnewaj, Babu Rupom Sharma, Khabir Hossain, Noor-ul Absar, Babul, Mojibur Rahman and Monir Hossain.
Speakers paid homage to those who sacrificed their lives during the war of liberation of Bangladesh which lasted for nine months.
