The 17th Heir Apparent Cup final promises to be one of the most entertaining events of the year in Qatar, with the match venue – Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium – being turned into an entertainment park with all-round family events. The tournament, played among the top four teams of the Qatar Stars League, kicked off yesterday. According to the organisers, Qatar Stars League Management, the park - to be located in front of the stadium on the North-West side within the parking perimeter of the stadium – will be open from 3pm till kick-off at 6.45pm. Tickets for the April 29 final are priced at QR10, 20 and 100 each. But the entry to the fan zone is free.“Thirty percent of tickets for the final are already sold. This is quite an achievement as we don’t know yet who are playing in the final,” said Khalid al-Kuwari, QSLM director for audience and marketing. “Fans are invited to come to the stadiums to enjoy the fun and support their teams.”Tickets, including those for the family section, are put on sale at leading malls: Villagio, The Mall, City Center, Landmark, Hyatt Plaza, Royal Plaza and Souq Waqif. Each entry ticket for the final will be entered into a raffle draw with the ticket holder standing a chance to win over 60 fabulous prizes, including Toyota cars, quad bikes, mobile phones and much more.The QSL offers live stadium feeling outside the Qatar Sports Club, with a giant TV screen beaming the final match live.QSLM have already launched a ‘Trophy Tour’ at shopping malls across Doha, generating a lot of excitement among football fans.
