NBK bowling tourney kicks off

Participants and officials at the start of the 2nd annual NBK Bowling Tournament

Leading business group, Nasser Bin Khaled, began the second edition of NBK Bowling Tournament for staff and management last week, a spokesperson said.
"The tournament is in line with NBK’s internal team strategy that aims at promoting a healthy and friendly corporate culture,” the official said. 
The 2011 tournament ends on March 23 and is held every Wednesday at 8pm.
For the opening, 70 participants gathered at the Qatar Bowling Center, eager to showcase their abilities and compete for the winning title.
NBK group PR manager Abed Mawass said: "The NBK Bowling Tournament enhances inter-group communications, social gatherings and team spirit. It is our constant and relentless efforts to advocate for health, education, sports values and the development of our community.”
The NBK Bowling Tournament is one in a series of sports-related initiatives, the official said.
