Filipinos pedal through floodwaters from overnight rains in Valenzuela City, north of Manila, yesterday. Tropical Storm Saola was estimated to be 310km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora province, according to the Philippine weather bureau. It is plotted to be moving in a North Northwest direction with maximum sustained winds of 85kph near the centre and gustiness of up to 100kph.
