Philippine police investigators look into a vehicle damaged by bullets at a crime scene after a firefight between police and suspected car thieves in Quezon City, east of Manila, yesterday. At least six suspected members of two carnapping gangs were killed after encounters with authorities in Quezon City and Makati City, initial reports stated. Police recovered high-powered weapons at the two crime scenes and continue to investigate possible links to criminal organisations.
