Members of the Philippine Marines wounded in a battle against the Abu Sayyaf in Sulu are treated in a military hospital in Zamboanga city yesterday. Seven soldiers were killed and 21 wounded on Thursday in the heaviest fighting in months between government troops and the militants, an army spokesman said. The militants beheaded two marines in the attack, the spokesman added.
