Lipton Teas and Infusions Qatar, and International Agencies announce strategic partnership to accelerate growth in Qatar’s tea industry
Lipton Teas and Infusions Qatar and International Agencies, a subsidiary of Ali Bin Ali Holding, have formalised a strategic partnership to strengthen Lipton’s presence in Qatar and drive continued growth and development in the country’s tea category.
The partnership was formalised on October 1, 2026, at W Hotel Doha, with senior representatives from Lipton Teas and Infusions Qatar, and International Agencies, along with key business partners and stakeholders. The collaboration brings together Lipton Teas and Infusions’ global tea expertise and brand portfolio with International Agencies’ established market knowledge, customer relationships, and distribution capabilities in Qatar.
With tea remaining an integral part of everyday life in Qatar, the partnership will focus on expanding product availability, strengthening distribution, and developing new consumption occasions across retail and Out-of-Home channels, including hotels, restaurants, cafés, offices, and workplaces.
Speaking at the partnership's formalisation, Naseeb Abdallah, general manager of Lipton Teas and Infusions Qatar in the Mena Region, highlighted the importance of the collaboration and the opportunity ahead. "This partnership with Ali Bin Ali’s International Agencies opens an exciting new chapter for us. Together, we want to go beyond growing our brands; we want to grow the tea category itself, introduce new experiences and create more opportunities for people to enjoy tea in new and meaningful ways,” he said.
International Agencies general manager George El Hajj said the partnership offers an opportunity to combine strong international brands with local market expertise. "Together, we will invest in innovation, expand our presence across the Out-of-Home channel, strengthen our route-to-market, and create new consumption occasions. Our ambition is to build on our position in the market while creating long-term value for consumers, customers and business partners,” he added.
Sustainability will also be part of the partnership’s long-term approach, focusing on responsible sourcing, logistics, and supply chain practices, and on positive contributions to the communities in which both companies operate.
As Qatar’s food, beverage, and hospitality landscape continues to develop, Lipton Teas and Infusions Qatar and International Agencies look ahead to a new chapter focused on expanding choice, creating new tea experiences, and delivering greater value to consumers across the country.
