Israeli colonists storm Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy occupation police protection
Israeli colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque Tuesday under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.
165 colonists entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound through the Moroccan Gate, conducted provocative tours of the courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals, WAFA news agency reported.
Groups affiliated with the so-called "Temple organizations” had called on their supporters to participate widely in the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and perform rituals inside the compound, citing Jewish celebrations as a pretext.
Israeli occupation authorities exploit Jewish holidays to close roads and impose restrictions on Palestinian movement across the West Bank, including Jerusalem, worsening their daily hardships and further restricting freedom of worship, while facilitating the movement of Israeli colonists and confining Palestinians within their cities, villages and towns.
