Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs meets Foreign Minister of China
His Excellency Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Tuesday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi in Beijing.
The meeting discussed cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them across various sectors. The meeting also dealt with the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to reduce escalation and enhance security and stability in the region, underscoring the necessity of ensuring the security and freedom of international navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed during the meeting the State of Qatar's full support for diplomatic efforts to find a solution that guarantees the freedom of maritime navigation and paves the way for reaching a comprehensive agreement that achieves sustainable peace in the region.
