HE the Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh al-Nuaimi visited two schools in Al Jumailiyah yesterday to assess their readiness for the start of teaching and learning as the 2026-27 academic year got underway.
He visited Al Jumailiyah Primary, Preparatory and Secondary School for Girls and Al Jumailiyah Primary, Preparatory and Secondary School for Boys, where he reviewed school preparations, student attendance, and class progress during the first week of the new academic year.
During the visits, HE Dr al-Nuaimi he met with school administrators and teaching and administrative staff, and observed lessons.
Meanwhile, Omar Abdulaziz al-Namaa, the assistant undersecretary for private education affairs at MoEHE, visited a number of private schools to check on the progress of classes. The visits included the Swiss School, Queen’s School and Al Nebras School. During his tours, al-Namaa met with students and teachers.
