HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store discussed bilateral relations and ways to support and strengthen them across various fields.
This came during a telephone call HH the Amir received yesterday from the Norwegian premier.
At the outset of the call, HH the Amir expressed his sincere condolences to the prime minister on the passing of HM King Harald V, wishing the Royal Family and the friendly Norwegian people patience and solace.
The Norwegian leader expressed his appreciation to HH the Amir for his sentiments, affirming the strength of the bilateral relations and his aspiration to enhance and develop them in a way that serves common interests.
The call also addressed developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian issue, and international efforts aimed at achieving peace, security, and stability in the region.
