As part of efforts to strengthen community partnerships and advance educational support, Katara Cultural Village announced its collaboration with Al-Aqraboon Centre, affiliated with Qatar Charity, under the "Noeen wa Nuawin” campaign.
The initiative aims to support students in Qatar by providing essential educational resources, empowering them to continue their academic journey and pursue their future aspirations. The campaign will take place from August 27-29, from 9am-11pm behind Katara Mosque, where community members can contribute to and support the initiative.
Themed "Their Journey Begins Here... and Through Giving, Their Steps Are Completed,” the initiative reflects a shared commitment to empowering students from low-income families and sponsored students by meeting their educational needs. It seeks to ensure that students begin the new academic year with greater confidence and stability, enabling them to continue their education without interruption.
The initiative provides a comprehensive package of educational assistance, including tuition fee support, fully equipped school bags, school uniforms and sportswear, student sponsorships, and support for digital learning requirements. Together, these forms of assistance help address students’ academic needs and foster a more supportive learning environment.
This collaboration underscores the commitment of the Cultural Village Foundation Katara and Al-Aqraboon Centre to strengthening the role of institutions in serving the community, promoting the values of solidarity and generosity, and supporting students across different educational levels. It also reflects their shared dedication to enabling students to continue their studies and contribute meaningfully to building their future.
Through the campaign, the initiative reaffirms that supporting education is a sustainable investment in people and society. By providing students with the resources they need, it nurtures a generation capable of learning, creativity, and giving. Their journey begins here, and through generosity, broader horizons open for their future.
