Ministry rolls out Hader app to facilitate mosque operations, administrative services
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs (Awqaf) has launched ‘Hader’, an innovative digital platform catering to imams and callers to prayer nationwide as part of its wider digital transformation strategy.
The platform is part of the ministry’s endeavour to leverage digital technology in workplaces, which would ultimately enhance institutional performance efficiency and streamline procedures and services offered to workforces operating in mosques.
The move further fosters the ministry’s role in undertaking its Dawah mission and serving society based on the most advanced administrative and technological practices.
The application in question is an advanced executive tool to bring a paradigm shift in the work system at mosques, intending to replace conventional paperwork procedures and rely on an almost entirely automated digital operation.
This transition would significantly save time and effort, accelerate the accomplishment of administrative transactions and official communications, as well as ensure further operational efficiency and flexibility when it comes to daily business management.
In addition, the application fosters effective engagement between mosque operators and their onsite workforces, particularly imams and callers to prayer, through a direct and reliable communication channel that enables the swift exchange of information and administrative guidance. It will likewise support governance and transparency by ensuring data accuracy, expediting information monitoring and verifying it electronically.
Intriguingly, the application serves a broad network covering 1,456 mosques across Qatar and targets 3,435 imams and callers to prayer, underscoring its expected impact and role in standardizing procedures, boosting communication efficiency and optimizing services provided to mosque personnel.
Moreover, the application is customised to a digital system that monitors hygiene levels at mosques periodically, thereby strengthening field surveillance and upgrading service quality afforded to mosques. It enables workforces to record comments and operational reports related to the performance of sanitation companies instantly and reliably. QNA
