Old Doha Port attracts visitors with exceptional summer experiences
Old Doha Port's summer campaign, "Let's Summer at the Mina", is now in full swing, with visitors returning to the promenade, the marina, and Chabrat Al Mina, as the destination continues to offer a vibrant waterfront experience throughout the summer months.
The campaign invites visitors to experience summer as it is, bringing together waterfront activities, family-friendly experiences, dining, retail and marine adventures that make spending the season outdoors more enjoyable. Throughout the month of July in the Mina District, Old Doha Port collaborated with Visit Qatar on a Qatar Calendar Ice Cream van, offering visitors a refreshing way to cool off while exploring the destination.
As summer continues, Al Chabrat (Fish Market) has become one of the Old Doha Port’s busier gathering spots. With the fishing season underway, visitors gather along the waterfront to select fresh seafood from the day's catch, bringing residents and visitors together around one of the destination's most authentic waterfront experiences.
The summer campaign also extends beyond the waterfront with a growing calendar of community activities. In collaboration with the fitness studio Fit Island, weekly Pilates classes take place every Saturday at The Terminal’s City Gallery, in front of the aquarium, allowing participants to exercise in a unique and immersive environment.
At the Containers Yard, visitors can make the most of the waterfront throughout the season with rental options for speedboats, jet cars, wakeboarding, paddle boats, banana boat rides, e-foiling, and other water activities. Traditional sea fishing continues at the Fishing Pontoons in Mina Park, opposite the Al Chabra (Fish Market), adding to the range of waterfront experiences available throughout the season.
"Let's Summer at the Mina" runs through the season, with Old Doha Port's summer facilities in place until October 15.
