Katara Cultural Village has concluded its 2026 summer camps after weeks of cultural, artistic and scientific activities involving nearly 190 children from different age groups.Held from July 5-29, the programme featured 11 specialised camps across Katara facilities, offering hands-on activities designed to develop children’s creative, intellectual and practical skills under the guidance of specialists in culture, arts, science, media and heritage. The camps covered heritage and traditional crafts, theatre, literature, photography, ceramics, visual arts, science, astronomy, religious studies and other creative programmes, allowing participants to explore their talents through interactive learning and teamwork.Children took part in activities focused on Arabic language skills, creative writing, public speaking, acting, art, photography and scientific exploration, with organisers highlighting strong engagement and enthusiasm among participants. Katara said the summer camps reflect its commitment to nurturing young talents, strengthening children’s connection with culture and heritage, and providing an educational environment that combines knowledge, creativity and entertainment.Â
