The Department of Meteorology has forecast hot to very hot conditions, accompanied by slight dust, during the daytime inshore on Tuesday, with scattered clouds at times.Offshore, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy at times.
Inshore winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 knots, gusting up to 25 knots during the day. Offshore, winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at 5-15 knots, with gusts reaching 25 knots in northern areas.
Sea conditions inshore will range from 1 to 3 feet, increasing to 4 feet in northern areas. Offshore, wave heights will be between 2 and 4 feet, rising to 6 feet in the north.
Visibility is expected to range between 4 and 9 km inshore and between 5 and 9 km offshore.
