Qatar Duty Free opens Aesop’s first Store in Qatar at Hamad International Airport

Qatar Duty Free is pleased to announce the opening of the first Aesop store in Qatar at Hamad International Airport. The Australian skin, hair and body care brand, celebrated for its considered formulations and sustainable approach, has opened a design-led retail concept inspired by Qatar's natural landscape, coastal textures and vernacular architecture.

Located within South Node, the new Aesop space has been conceived by the brand’s in-house Store Design team as an exploration of the peninsula’s geography and architectural identity. The space incorporates materials and textures that reference Qatar’s coastal environment – from the rammed earth of the rear wall to the coral stone central counters. Combining organic forms with a contemporary aesthetic that reflects both

Aesop’s design philosophy and the character of the region, the store reveals a distinctly sensory retail destination for travelers passing through Hamad International Airport. 

Beyond Aesop’s signature range of skin, hair, body care and fragrance formulations, the new opening introduces a retail experience designed specifically for travellers. Clients can enjoy personalised pre-flight skin rituals, including a refreshing spritz of Aesop’s Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol or skin preparation using the Immaculate Facial Tonic with reusable skincare pads, offering a moment of calm before departure.

The store also features thoughtful touches that reflect Aesop’s approach to holistic hospitality, including handmade tea bags that travelers can take to enjoy during their flight, alongside deluxe samples and the brand’s signature furoshiki giftwrapping. Together, it creates an experience that extends beyond the purchase itself.
