Al-Muraikhi in Manila meetings on sidelines of event marking 50th anniversary of TAC
The State of Qatar participated in the commemorative event marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Co-operation in Southeast Asia (TAC), held yesterday in Manila, the Philippines. HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi held yesterday a series of bilateral meetings, on the margin of the commemorative event marking the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Co-operation in Southeast Asia (TAC), held in Manila, the Philippines.
HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi met separately yesterday with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Engineer Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji, and the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs for Brunei Darussalam, Erywan Pehin Yusof.
HE al-Muraikhi met with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, Maria Theresa P Lazaro; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Sugyono; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Le Hoai Trung; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr Khalilur Rahman; the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Tom
Berendsen; and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Panama, Javier Martinez-Acha.
The meetings discussed co-operation relations between the State of Qatar and these countries and ways to support and strengthen them, in addition to discussing a host of topics of mutual interest. (QNA)
