Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Ability Friendly Programme Summer Camp is back and there is still time to be part of it. The programme part of QF Pre-University Education offers tailored sport and developmental activities and opportunities for children and adults with disabilities across Qatar, reflecting QF’s commitment to ensuring everyone can enjoy and benefit from sport.
Its summer camp runs from July 5-30 at Education City and is open to children and young people with disabilities aged between five and 18. Divided into two sessions, each lasting two weeks, it provides a range of engaging, inclusive recreational activities, including football, basketball, swimming, and horse riding. In addition to the sporting fun, activities include arts and crafts, pottery, science, and cooking.
Spaces are still available for the second camp session, taking place from July 19-30 from 10am-3pm each day. Registration costs QR2,500 and can be done through the Education City App, by e-mailing abilityfriendly@qf.org.qa, or by calling 71902104.
