Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) has announced the opening of registration for its highly anticipated Summer Camp, one of its flagship annual programmes dedicated to children.
Since its launch in 2017, the camp has established itself as a comprehensive platform that combines sports, educational, and recreational activities designed to engage and inspire young participants.
The camp is open to boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years and offers a dynamic schedule packed with sports activities, educational workshops, and field trips to some of Doha’s most prominent landmarks.
The camp will take place from July 5 to 30, Sunday to Thursday, between 8am and 1pm. Activities for boys will be held at the Aspire Dome, while girls’ activities will take place at the Ladies Sports Hall.
Ahmed Mohammed al-Hassan, Events and Venues director, said: "Year after year, we open our world-class facilities to children from across the community, driven by our firm belief in the importance of instilling a culture of sports and healthy living among younger generations.
Through this camp, we aim to help build a healthier, more active, and more aware generation.”
Parents can easily register their children by visiting Aspire Zone Foundation’s official website: www.aspirezone.qa
Registration can be completed online, and early registration is highly recommended due to the limited number of available places. Registration opened on June 12 and will remain available through AZF’s website until all places are filled.
The programme features a broad range of activities tailored to different interests and age groups. Boys will have the opportunity to participate in shooting, football, basketball, volleyball, e-sports and gaming activities, swimming, martial arts and fitness sessions.
Girls can take part in shooting, arts and creative activities, swimming, e-sports and gaming activities, basketball, volleyball and fitness programmes.
In addition to the regular activities, Tuesdays will feature sports and educational programmes delivered in collaboration with several organisations, including the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Qatar Red Crescent Society, Qatar Sports for All Federation and the General Directorate of Traffic. Thursdays will be dedicated to educational and recreational field trips to some of Doha’s leading attractions.
The summer camp will conclude with a closing ceremony on July 30. This year’s edition is supported by Jetour as the main sponsor, Qatar Sports for All Federation as the main partner, Qomunication as the media sponsor, Baladna as the event sponsor and Midan Al Hadaf Shooting Range as the event partner.
