HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan al-Thani held a series of high-level talks with Singaporean and Malaysian officials on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue 2026 in Singapore.
HE Sheikh Saoud met separately yesterday with Singapore's Co-ordinating Minister for Public Services and Minister for Defence Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, and Co-ordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs K Shanmugam.
HE Sheikh Saoud also met with Malaysia's Minister of Defence Mohamed Khaled Nordin.
The discussions focused on regional security developments, military co-operation and joint co-ordination efforts amid current regional challenges.
The meetings were attended by Qatar’s ambassador to Singapore Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Almalki al-Jehani along with senior officials and military officers from both sides.
