His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani participated in a joint telephone call with President Donald Trump of the United States of America, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain, King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Turkey, and General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
The leaders discussed regional and international developments amid escalating security and political challenges, exchanging views on efforts to contain tensions and prevent further escalation that could threaten regional stability and security.
During the call, the leaders expressed appreciation to US President Donald Trump for his coordination and consultations with all relevant parties to help maintain regional and international peace and security, while also commending the diplomatic efforts undertaken by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
HH The Amir stressed the importance of intensifying consultations and coordination among relevant countries, reaffirming that diplomatic solutions remain the best path to resolving crises and safeguarding the region from the consequences of escalation.
