HH Consort of HH the Amir Sheikha Jowaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim al-Thani Tuesday patronised the graduation ceremony for the 49th cohort of Qatar University students. The event, held at the university's Sports and Events Complex, celebrated the achievements of 3,122 female graduates across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
During the ceremony, Her Highness Sheikha Jowaher honoured 525 outstanding students for their academic excellence. Degrees were formally conferred by His Excellency the university's president, Dr Omar al-Ansari.
The proceedings included speeches by Dr al-Ansari and a graduate representative, Majd Jaber al-Marri, who addressed attendees on behalf of the graduating class.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Their Excellencies sheikhs, ministers and members of the university's board of trustees, as well as senior academic officials and families of the graduates.
The graduation marks a significant milestone for one of Qatar's leading higher education institutions as it continues to expand its academic offerings and student body.
