Qatar Airways has announced plans to operate limited flights arriving at Hamad International Airport on March 9 as travel disruptions continue.A statement from the airline said the emergency flights will arrive in Doha from Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, London, Zurich and Muscat.The airline said the services are intended only for passengers whose final destination is Doha, adding that travelers should make bookings through the airline's website, mobile application, or authorized travel agents.Qatar Airways emphasized that the flights do not signal a full resumption of scheduled commercial operations.Passengers were also advised not to travel to their departure airports unless they hold a valid confirmed ticket.The carrier said it had earlier operated repatriation flights on March 8 departing Hamad International Airport to Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, London and Zurich.According to the airline, priority on those flights was given to stranded families, elderly travelers, and those with urgent medical or humanitarian needs. The seats were pre-allocated directly by the airline to affected passengers.Qatar Airways said the temporary flight suspension will continue due to the closure of Qatari airspace, adding it will resume operations once the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority announces the safe full reopening of Qatari airspace by the relevant authorities.It apologized for the inconvenience and promised that a further update will be provided on March 9.
