Saudi Energy Ministry confirms no supply impact after attempted attack on Ras Tanura Refinery

The Saudi Ministry of Energy confirmed on Wednesday that an attempted drone attack targeting the Ras Tanura refinery caused no damage and did not affect oil supplies.A source at the ministry, cited by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said the refinery was targeted earlier in the day but that no damage or disruption to production or exports was reported.The Ras Tanura refinery, owned by Saudi Aramco, is the largest in the Middle East, with a refining capacity of about 550,000 barrels per day and forms part of a major energy complex.
