Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) crowned winners in the Family Fun Run and the Women’s 3x3 Basketball Tournament as part of the 12th edition of the Ramadan Sports Festival 2026, transforming Aspire Park into a lively hub of community sport under the evening lights. Organised in partnership with the Qatar Sports for All Federation, the Family Fun Run took place from 9pm to 11pm and drew participants from across the community in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Ramadan while promoting physical activity as a year-round lifestyle.
Ajiol Khabibulina led the women’s 3km category, with Rancy Iyaga finishing second and Zain Othman third. In the boys’ 13+ race, Arjan Rakesh secured first place ahead of Yousef Jamal and Nasser al-Khaja. The ceremony was attended by AZF and Qatar Sports for All Federation officials, underscoring the collaborative effort behind the event.
Competition remains intense in the Embassies Football Tournament, staged at Pitch No. 4 from February 22 to March 6, featuring 24 teams divided into eight groups. On the fourth matchday, Oman defeated South Africa 6–1, Chad edged Mali 6–5, and India recorded a 12–3 win over Finland. The preliminary round continues until March 1, followed by knockout stages leading to the final on March 6.
Meanwhile, the Aspire Sponsors Football Championship 2025 is underway at Pitch No. 5, with Al Waha and Ashghal 1 opening their campaigns with convincing victories as the group stage progresses.
