His Excellency Shura Council Speaker Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim has held talks with the Ambassador of the United Mexican States to the State of Qatar Jose Guillermo Ordorica Robles, focusing on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and broader bilateral relations.During the meeting in Doha on Tuesday, the two sides reviewed ways to enhance collaboration between Qatar's Shura Council and the Mexican parliament, including efforts to activate parliamentary friendship groups and deepen legislative exchanges.The discussions formed part of wider efforts by both countries to expand cooperation and reinforce ties in areas of mutual interest.Ambassador Ordorica Robles also praised Qatar's diplomatic role in promoting regional security and stability. He highlighted Doha's efforts to support dialogue and peaceful conflict resolution, particularly its recent involvement in facilitating negotiations between the United States and Iran.The Mexican envoy said Qatar's diplomatic initiatives had contributed to positive outcomes in recent talks and underscored the country's growing role as a mediator in regional and international affairs.Qatar has increasingly positioned itself as a key diplomatic intermediary, hosting and supporting negotiations aimed at easing tensions and encouraging dialogue across the Middle East and beyond.Â
