QatarEnergy celebrated 152 employees with career milestones of 30, 35, and 40 years of service, including three employees who had 45 years’ worth of distinguished continuous service.
The "My Legacy” recognition ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad Sherida al-Kaabi, who is also the president and chief executive of QatarEnergy.
The minister thanked the recognised employees for their dedication and commitment during their years of service.
Speaking at the ceremony, HE al-Kaabi congratulated the honorees on their achievements and contributions towards making QatarEnergy what it is today.
"You have been part of our transformation journey over the years from Qatar General Petroleum Corporation to Qatar Petroleum, and now to QatarEnergy, which is a name to reckon with home and abroad, and a name that is synonymous with great talents and accomplishments,” he said.
"We owe a lot to the men and women who have worked in this company for years before us, with us today, and even those who will join us in the future,” HE al-Kaabi continued. "There is no doubt that our accomplishments are a testament to your dedication to your jobs and to your contributions as you helped to develop the many people around you to help make this company even better.”
The minister also thanked the honoured employees for their remarkable long service, and for the good work and dedication they have demonstrated over the years.
The "My Legacy” ceremony is a continuation of QatarEnergy’s recognition of its most valuable asset, its human capital.
This year’s honorees included 22 employees with 40 years of service, 65 employees with 35 years of service, and 62 employees with 30 years of service.
