Ashghal resumes work on package 4 of remaining roads, infrastructure works in Semaisma
As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance services and improve the quality of life for residents across the country, the Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' announced the resumption of work on Package 4 of the Remaining Roads and Infrastructure Works in Semaisma area.
Project Engineer in Ashghal's Drainage Networks Projects Department Eng. Waled Al Ghoul indicated that Package 4 of the Semaisma project is located in Zone 70. It aims to serve around 554 land plots for citizens in the area, through the construction of a 26-km road network, the provision of 444 parking spaces, the installation of around 95 streetlights, and the planting of more than 40 trees.
He added that the project also includes the development of infrastructure service networks, with the construction of 27 km of sewage networks, 22 km of stormwater drainage networks, and approximately 5 km of treated water networks. A wastewater pumping station will also be constructed.

Eng. Waled said that the project comes in response to the demands of the increasing population growth in Semaisma area. It aims to improve traffic flow and enhance connectivity with public utilities, as well as raise the level of road safety by providing street lighting, directional signs, and dedicated pedestrian and bicycle paths.
