One person was killed and five others were injured Saturday morning in an Israeli attack targeting two towns in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health reported that an Israeli drone strike targeted a car in the town of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, in the Nabatieh district, killing one person.
Meanwhile, five people were injured in the town of Shaqra, in the Bint Jbeil district, by a stun grenade dropped by an Israeli drone.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on November 27 of last year, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days. The Lebanese government subsequently agreed to extend the deadline until February 18 of this year. However, the Israeli army remains in five locations and continues its violations.
