Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces and Commander of U.S. Central Command Inaugurate Combined Air Defense Command Center (CCP)

Under the patronage of H. E. Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs, and with attendance of HE Lt. Gen. (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Mannai, Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces, and Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, Commander of US Central Command, the Combined Air Defense Command Center (CCP) was Inaugurated.
The inauguration took place after the meeting between HE Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces and Commander of US Central Command at Al-Udaid Air Base, where the two sides discussed a number of topics of common interest, and ways to enhance and develop them.The inauguration of the center comes as part of efforts to develop the air defense system, and enhance command and control capabilities of Qatar Armed Forces to ensure the highest levels of readiness and operational efficiency.
A number of senior QAF officers attended the meeting and the inauguration.
