Several Palestinians martyred, injured in occupation strikes across Gaza

Several Palestinian civilians, including women and children, were martyred and others injured since dawn Wednesday, as Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes across various areas of the Gaza Strip.Medical sources reported that five members of one family, including the mother, father, and three children were martyred when Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced persons in Al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA).Two more civilians were martyred and several others injured when Israeli forces targeted a home in Gaza City.Five others were recovered from under the rubble.In Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, three civilians, including a mother and her two children were martyred in an Israeli airstrike that struck a residential house.Since Oct. 7, 2023, Israel, the occupying power, has been waging a genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, including killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, in defiance of international appeals and binding orders from the International Court of Justice.The ongoing aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of 62,064 civilians and the injury of 156,573 others, the majority of them women and children.Over 9,000 remain missing, while hundreds of thousands have been forcibly displaced. Starvation has claimed the lives of 266 people, including 112 children.
