The death toll from the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which began on Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 61,722, in addition to 154,525 wounded.In a statement on Wednesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that ambulance and civil defense crews transported 123 martyrs and 437 wounded to hospitals across the Strip over the past 24 hours. The ministry noted that the death toll and injuries recorded since the occupation violated the ceasefire agreement on March 18 have risen to 20,201 martyrs, in addition to 42,484 wounded.The ministry also noted that the death toll among aid seekers who arrived at hospitals over the past 24 hours reached 21 martyrs, in addition to 185 injured, bringing the total number of aid seekers martyrs who arrived at hospitals to 1,859, and the total number of injured to 13,594. Meanwhile, eight people, including three children, died of famine and malnutrition, bringing the total number of famine victims in Gaza to 235, including 106 children
