The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC), through the National Radiation Monitoring and Early Warning Network, confirmed that no abnormal radiation levels have been recorded in the air or territorial waters of Qatar.In a statement Sunday, the MoECC said that the National Radiation Monitoring and Early Warning Network includes land and marine stations distributed across the country, and that these stations continuously monitor radiation levels and issue immediate alerts via the associated early warning system to ensure a rapid response in the event of any abnormal increase in radiation.The MoECC added that it continues to co-ordinate and follow up with the International Atomic Energy Agency's Incident and Emergency Center to keep abreast of any relevant developments at the regional level.The MoECC urged citizens and residents to obtain information from official sources.
