Organizing Committee prepares for 2025 World Table Tennis Championship in Doha

The Organizing Committee for the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha 2025 continues its preparations for the event, which will take place from May 17 to 25, featuring 640 players from 127 countries.Chair of the Facilities Committee for the tournament, Ahmed Khalil Al Mohannadi, confirmed that the Lusail and Qatar University halls are ready to host the competitions.In a press statement, he said that the preparations are progressing smoothly, and everyone is putting in great effort to welcome the participating delegations.Al Mohannadi also expressed his amazement at the growing demand for tickets to the championship, expecting a remarkable turnout from the fans.Regarding Qatar's participation, Al Mohannadi emphasized that representing the national team at international events is an honor for every player. He urged the fans to support national players throughout the competition.Meanwhile, Karl Jindrak, the director of the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships Finals Doha 2025, praised the exceptional preparations to host the competition according to the highest international standards.In a press statement, Jindrak stressed that the International Table Tennis Federation is delighted with the efforts being made, and appreciates the Qatar Table Tennis Association's efforts to host this event.He underlined confidence in Qatar's abilities, as the country has significant experience in organizing major global sports events, adding that Qatar has successfully hosted various international table tennis tournaments, and this will mark the second time it hosts the World Championship, 21 years after hosting the tournament in 2004.
