Under a strong ride from Alberto Sanna, he dug deep in the closing stages to fend off the brave challenge of Maysara, in the silks of Mohammed Abdulhadi S al-Hajria, to win by a head in a Class 2 Local Thoroughbred Conditions race over 1200m.Abdulla Rashid al-Kubaisi, QREC Racing Manager, crowned the winners.In the penultimate race of the day, Hamad Nasser H al-Naimi-owned Saqr won the Purebred Arabian Handicap (80-100) for the four-year-old+.In the card opener, Sharq Stud’s Billythekid Pompadour won the Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 4-6-year-olds.
