Ministry of Municipality keen to provide sophisticated sporting facilities

HE the Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah al-Attiyah took part in the Qatar National Sport Day events held at Rawdat Al-Hamama Park.The event was attended by Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Food Security Affairs Fahd Mohamed al-Qahtani, Assistant Undersecretary for Urban Planning Affairs Turki Fahd al-Turki, a number of general directors of municipalities and department heads from the ministry.HE the Minister of Municipality stressed that he National Sport Day reflects the vision of the wise leadership in encouraging sports activities due to it importance and role as a pillar of human capital investment within Qatar National Vision 2030."This day contributes to raising awareness about the significance of sports in individuals' and society's lives and encourages everyone to engage in sports activities."In line with the Ministry of Municipality’s commitment to providing recreational sports spaces for the public, we will be inaugurating three new parks in the coming period, equipped with the latest sports facilities and modern tracks.”He also reaffirmed the ministry’s continuous efforts to ensure that all parks and public gardens meet the highest international standards for sports fields and facilities.He further highlighted the diverse range of sports facilities and services provided by the Ministry of Municipality in parks and public gardens across different municipalities. These include various sports fields, walking, jogging, and cycling tracks, as well as fitness equipment catering to all segments of society, including adults, children, and people with special needs.
