Lesha Bank recorded a net profit of QR123.7mn for H1 2026, reflecting 50.1% year-on-year (y-o-y) growth.The bank delivered strong growth across its key financial metrics during the period. Assets Under Management (AUM) increased to QR19.2bn, representing a 78% y-o-y growth, driven by continued expansion across its investment and asset management businesses. Total investments grew by 27.6% to QR4.7bn compared with the same period in the previous year. As of June 30, 2026, total assets reached QR11.1bn, reflecting a 53.9% y-o-y increase, primarily attributable to higher investment activity. Sustained profitability strengthened the bank's capital position, with total equity attributable to the bank increasing to QR1.54bn, representing an 11.1% y-o-y increase. Customer deposits rose by 78.8% to QR5.6bn, demonstrating strong investors’ confidence and funding growth. Total income for the period amounted to QR239.1mn, supported by higher fee-based and dividend income, resulting in a 105.9% y-o-y increase.Key performance indicators remained robust, with return on equity (RoE) of 16.2% and return on assets (RoA) of 2.6%. Book value per share stood at QR1.38, while annualised earnings per share (EPS) amounted to QR0.221, highlighting the bank's solid financial performance and commitment to long-term value creation for shareholders.Lesha Bank chairman His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Thani al-Thani said, “Our results reaffirm the strength of our Shariah-compliant investment offerings and the discipline behind every decision we make. “Our constant aim is to ensure our investments remain resilient and able to maneuver when the time comes, allowing us to identify long-term opportunities and connect our investors to them wherever they emerge. It is this same discipline that continues to underpin sustainable value creation for our shareholders.”Lesha Bank GCEO Mohammed Ismail al-Emadi added: “Our first-half performance reflects the strength of a well-diversified investment portfolio, with each business line contributing steadily. That resilience comes down to discipline as our teams stayed closer to our clients and business partners throughout. “Same principle guides us on how we connect local capital to the world and international capital to Qatar, always with an eye on sourcing and managing high-quality assets that deliver stable, long-term returns. It's an approach we intend to carry with the same momentum into the second half of the year.”
