Police Academy delegation visits US military and police institutions

A delegation from the Police Academy, headed by HE Maj. Gen. Abdullah Yousuf al-Mal, the legal advisor to the Minister of Interior and the General Supervisor of the Police Academy, has visited the New York Police Department and the United States Military Academy at West Point in the USA.During the visit, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), the delegation met with the Chief of the New York Police Department. The visit was aimed at enhancing and exchanging expertise with relevant training and educational institutions.The delegation visited both the New York Police Academy and the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they learned about the missions, curricula, and training programs, as well as affiliated training entities.They also visited the New York Police Department headquarters and its operational centres.This visit aims to strengthen cooperation and exchange of expertise in the academic and training fields.
