Title holders Al Arabi are treading cautiously ahead of their Amir Cup 2024 quarter-final against Al Duhail to be played at the Al Janoub Stadium today.The winner of the clash will meet the winner of the Al Sadd and Al Wakrah last eight match which will also be played today at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium at 10.30pm.Al Arabi beat Al Sailiya 2-1 in their Round of 16 match. Having finished the league championship in fifth position, The Dream Team are keen to retain their Amir Cup title.Speaking ahead of the quarter-finals, Al Arabi coach Younes Ali said: “Facing Al Duhail will be tough. Our matches against them are always thrilling and both teams are seeking redemption to clinch the cup this season. Our goal is to reach the semis.”For his part, Al Duhail player Ibrahima Diallo said: “We have a tough match against Al Duhail and our aim is to qualify for the semis.”Al Duhail, who failed to defend their league title and ended up sixth this season, are also eager to bag the title.Al Duhail coach Christophe Galtier said: “We face a strong team, the title holders with good and talented players.
