Deputy PM meets visiting dignitaries at Dimdex

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al-Attiyah met with Minister of Defence of Cote d'Ivoire Tene Birahima Ouattara and his accompanying delegation during his participation in the 8th Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (Dimdex 2024). The meeting discussed topics of mutual interest as well as co-operation relations between Qatar and the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire and ways to strengthen and develop them.A number of senior officials from both sides attended the meeting.HE al-Attiyah met with Minister for Defense Procurement of the United Kingdom James Cartlidge and Chief of the General Staff of the United Kingdom General Sir Patrick Sanders, during their participation in Dimdex. During the meeting, they discussed topics of common concern, as well as co-operation relations between the two sides and ways to enhance and develop them. The meeting was attended by HE Commander of the Amiri Land Forces Major General Saeed bin Hussain al-Khayarin and a number of senior officers from both sides.HE the Deputy PM also with Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Admiral Nikolai Yevmenov, and his accompanying delegation, during his participation in Dimdex. The meeting was attended by Qatari Military Attache to Russia Brigadier General (Navy) Mubarak Rashid al-Sulaiti and a number of senior officials from both sides.HE al-Attiyah met with Italian Chief of Staff Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by HE the Qatari Military Attache to the Italian Republic Major General Hilal bin Ali al-Muhannadi and a number of senior officials from both sides.HE the Defence Minister met with Deputy Minister of Defence of Azerbaijan Agil Gurbanov, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by a number of senior officials from both sides.HE the Deputy PM met with President of Turkiye's Defence Industry Agency Haluk Gorgun and managers of BMC, Aselsan, Roketsan, Havelsan companies during their participation in Dimdex).The meeting was attended by HE Qatari Military Attache to the Republic of Turkiye Brigadier General Mohamed bin Rashed al-Shahwani and several senior officials of Qatar's Armed Forces.
