Qatar startup GeneDose has emerged victorious in the HealthTech category at the Gulf Council Countries (GCC) ROWAD Hackathon.The competition, which attracted hundreds of startups from the GCC region, witnessed GeneDose's innovation in healthcare technology, securing its place as the sole Qatari project to claim victory across all five categories: HealthTech, TeachTech, Fintech, Edutech, and Agritech.The HealthTech challenge centres on leveraging technology to transform healthcare and elevate patient outcomes.Participants are tasked with crafting solutions to tackle crucial healthcare issues, spanning improved patient care and remote monitoring to streamlined medical record management, fortified Telehealth Infrastructure, enhanced security and privacy measures, and an enriched overall patient experience."This win is a testament to our unwavering commitment to advancing personalised medicine and prioritising patient-centred care," said GeneDose founder Dr Kholoud Abdulla.
