Palestinian presidency warns of continued Israeli aggression, intensification of settlements in West Bank

The Palestinian presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh warned Saturday against the continued Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and the intensification of squatter settlements in the occupied West Bank.Abu Rudeina stressed that while the occupation is escalating its all-out war on the Palestinian people and committing genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, it is at the same time practicing silent land annexation in the West Bank by increasing the number of random settlements and forced displacement of the Palestinians, especially in the Jordan Valley areas.He stressed that this occupations policy, which violates all international legitimacy resolutions, most notably the UN Resolution No. 2334, will not impose a fait accompli on the Palestinian people because they are the decision-makers and the makers of their future.Abu Rudeina pointed out that the future of the Palestinian land in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, is only determined by the Palestinian people and not by the occupation and its criminal policies, nor by any other external party, stressing that the American administration must immediately intervene and oblige the occupation authorities to stop their aggression against the Palestinian people and stop settlement expansion in all its forms because its continuation means dragging the region into an uncontrollably grave situation.He affirmed that the continuation of this Israeli policy, which is backed by the US, will not achieve security and stability for anyone, nor in the region.
