His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call on Wednesday from the President of the friendly Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.During the call, the President discussed the situation in the State of Qatar and affirmed his country's full solidarity and support for all efforts aimed at enhancing its security and stability.The President also expressed the Republic of Uzbekistan's condemnation of the Iranian aggression, stressing that such attacks contravene the principles of good neighborliness, international law, and the Charter of the United Nations.The President expressed his appreciation to HH the Amir for his concern for Uzbek citizens in the State of Qatar and for ensuring their safety. For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that they receive full care and attention and remain safe under the protection provided by the State to all those living on its territory.Both sides stressed the importance of de-escalation and restraint, prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions, and resolving disputes peacefully to preserve regional security and safeguard the interests of its peoples.
