Japan's two largest airlines said they will raise fuel surcharges on international tickets beginning in July.The carriers, Japan Airlines (JAL) and All Nippon Airways (ANA), said the increase reflects the continued rise in global fuel prices.The new surcharge rates will apply to tickets issued between July 1 and Aug. 31 as part of the airlines' every two-month review of fuel surcharges, which are adjusted in line with fluctuations in oil prices and currency exchange rates.The decision follows a previous increase in May, prompted by higher crude oil prices linked to tensions in the Middle East.
