Qatar yesterday launched Hayyoh, a national initiative that turns a match ticket into a running tally of rewards, awarding fans 1,000 points for every eligible sporting event they attend.Points accumulate into a balance that can be redeemed for rewards, offers and experiences drawn from Hayyoh’s partner network, officials told at launch press conference. The more a fan turns up, the further they climb. Membership runs across five tiers reflecting activity and sustained participation — beginning at Member, rising through Bronze, Silver and Gold, and topping out at Platinum. Registration and membership are free for Qatari citizens and residents holding a valid Qatar ID. Young people aged 12-17 may join through a dedicated account with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, a provision aimed at building the habit of attending live sport early. Everything sits behind a single account. Users can browse eligible events, track their attendance, watch their points balance and tier status move, and redeem what is on offer without leaving the platform.To Page 3 The partner network is the engine of the scheme, supplying the rewards fans cash their points against. Hayyoh said it remains open to signing further partners, widening and diversifying the benefits on offer. The initiative is built on a straightforward premise: buy a ticket, show up, earn points. In doing so it places the fan at the centre of the sporting experience, converting a single evening in the stands into an ongoing relationship with sport — and, its backers hope, fuller venues across a broad range of events.
