FROMM., a Qatari furniture and accessories brand, has participated once again in Milan Design Week, marking its third consecutive year with the unveiling of this year’s theme the Oasiblu, a collaborative effort with Italian designer Antonio Arico.This event underscores FROMM.’s commitment to showcasing Qatari creativity on an international platform, a statement said on Wednesday.Taking place at Via Savona, 35, in Milan, the FROMM. showroom offered an immersive experience that blended art with design. Drawing inspiration from the peacefulness of an oasis, the space invited visitors into a calming environment characterised by blue and gold hues, reminiscent of a serene blue oasis.Key highlights included the introduction of the Shurouq Collection’s Sofra Dining Table and Sanad Chairs co-designed with Qatari talents Kaltham al-Kuwari and Aisha al-Mohannadi. This collection reflects an integration of Qatari heritage with contemporary design principles.The newly introduced Haima' Armchair by Maryam al-Suwaidi, with its contemporary leatherette shell, and the Ottoman Dream Collection, featuring the Pavo armchair and sofa, were also showcased, highlighting FROMM.'s dedication to blending cultural heritage with modern aesthetics.For the second year, FROMM.'s designs were featured at the prestigious Rossana Orlandi Gallery. This year, the gallery showcased the Pavo Sofa, in collaboration with Italian designer Antonio Arico.This year’s Milan Design Week was a vibrant celebration of Qatari creativity, presenting works in collaboration with designers Shua'a Ali, Noora al-Melhim, and Hammam al-Abdulla, alongside Kaltham al-Kuwari, Aisha al-Mohannadi and Maryam al-Suwaidi.
