Indonesia's Overseas Election Committee in Qatar (PPLN Qatar), in a plenary meeting held at the embassy of Indonesia, has confirmed that 7,325 Indonesians have been registered for next year's election.The meeting was attended by ambassador Ridwan Hassan and Indonesia's Election Supervisory Committee in Qatar (Panwaslu LN), a statement said on Sunday.Ambassador Hassan expressed his appreciation to all related parties including PPLN and Panwaslu LN for their dedication, hard work, and participation in compiling and verifying the voters for next year's election. "This work is crucial and not easy," he said.According to Heri Kartono, chairperson of PPLN Qatar, out of 7,325 registered voters, there are 4,570 (62.38%) female voters and 2,755 (37.62%) male voters.Indonesia will hold its national election in 2024 to elect the president, vice president and member of parliaments. Known as one of the world's biggest election with more than 200mn voters, the election will not only be held in Indonesia but also abroad, including in Qatar.
