Kerala Business Forum (KBF), a fraternity of Business owners and entrepreneurs of Kerala origin in Qatar and under the aegis of IBPN and Indian embassy, has elected its leadership team for 2023-25.During the annual general body held on June 10, KBF for the first time went through elections and a mandate was given by the voters to elect president and 10 management committee (MC) members.Aji Kuriakose was elected as the president for the term 2023-25 along with ten other MC members – Hameed N M S, Kimi Alexander, Jayaprasad J P, Noor Ul Haq, Manzoor Moideen, Hamza Saphar, Shabeer Mohamed, Farzad Akkara, Sony Abraham and Mohamed Aslam.At a later meeting, Kimi Alexander was declared the vice-president, Manzoor Moideen as general secretary, Noor Ul Haq as treasurer along with Sony Abraham and Farzad Akkara as joint secretaries.The AGM and elections were held under the supervision of acting president Rama Krishnan and advisory board chairman Jayaraj K, with IBPC vice-president Abdul Sathar as observer.The outgoing general secretary Nihad Ali presented the two years working report and the financials were presented by (outgoing) treasurer Gireesh Pillai.
