DI, EPR sign recycling agreement

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) signed a partnership agreement with Elite Paper Recycling (EPR). Eman al-Sulaiti, executive director of DI's Administrative and Financial Division, and Abdulla Ibrahim al-Suwaidi, chair of the Board of Directors, EPR, were the signatories.Under the agreement, the DI will continue recycling waste paper regularly with the support of EPR in support of the objectives of corporate social responsibility, aiming to integrate the principles of sustainability and environment-friendly measures into the community, a press statement notes.Both parties, as per the agreement, are committed to developing and organising mutual initiatives to enhance recycling and increase awareness of environmental issues in society, as well as encouraging participation of the public and private sectors.Al-Sulaiti expressed gratitude at signing the agreement as it would promote sustainable development models in Qatar and help spread awareness about corporate social responsibility activities with regard to the importance of recycling.She pointed out that EPR is a distinguished emerging Qatari company that dedicates special care to spreading awareness and supporting the environment. And DI, through its vision, is keen to raise the level of public awareness of the significance of this issue and the sustainability culture.
